I would proceed to Tummy Tuck and skip BodyTite. Your situation is best treated with a Tummy tuck. Muscle work and skin excision is really better with a Tummy Tuck. It's a great investment. Best Wishes!!
Hello Fearless, Thank you for posting photographs and asking a question.Looking at the photographs shown, I would say you need a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin. Bodytite and other skin tightening procedures work best for patients with good quality skin that needs minimal tightening. Patients that have very damaged skin, loose with stretch marks, tend to need a tummy tuck to remove that skin. During the tummy tuck surgery, abdominal muscles are brought back together to flatten the stomach, and the damaged skin is removed, leaving the abdomen flat and tight. In general, women who have had children tend to need a tummy tuck as the abdominal wall has possibly widened (separation of the muscles along the midline of the abdomen known as diastasis).During the tummy tuck, these muscles are brought back together, which gives the stomach a lean appearance without a pooch. 'I recommend you acquire several in-person consultations with surgeons who are very experienced in these procedures before making a final decision. Best of Luck.
You would be disappointed with the results of BodyTite. BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues. It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically. BodyTite only works well for people who are near their target weight and who have skin elastic enough to bounce back from the procedure.
I do agree that you would benefit most from a tummy tuck to remove excess skin. However, bodytite may still help tighten some of the skin and improve the appearance, I would make sure book a consultation with a plastic surgeon to access in person.
From your photos the best procedure to improve your concerns is a tummy tuck. This will remove excess skin and fat as well as correct abdominal wall laxity. Your photos do not show that you are a candidate for BodyTite and would likely not get good results from the procedure.
NO......... None of these minimial or non invasive technologies (BodyTite, J-Plasma, CoolSculpt, etc!) will help any real skin tightening as needed in this case. Surgery is the gold standard.
Hi, from the pictures, I don't really see the skin laxity that would necessitate an internal skin tightening treatment such as Bodytite. If the doctor performing your Lipo is skilled at body sculpting, you should get a good result. Bodytite is an invasive procedure so it would not make sense to...
If you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like Coolsculpting with Vanquish or trusculpt iD to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you combine this with Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Inmode Forma/Contoura radiofrequency treatments. You boost the results...
BodyTite can be done in conjunction with liposuction. Standard liposuction retracts the skin 10-15%, where as the addition of BodyTite can retract the skin 30-40%. This provides optimal skin retraction to ensure that you have the best result. To follow surgery, compression garments are required...
