Hi doctors, I’m a 20-year-old male struggling with persistent dark circles around both eyes. The darkness involves the entire pre-orbital region — under eyes, upper eyelids, and near the brow bone — giving me a tired, aged look. The circles lighten almost completely (about 80–90%) when I shine a flashlight from a close upper angle, so I’m not sure if they’re due to pigmentation or something structural beneath. When I gently pull the under-eye skin outward, the darkness fades only slightly (20–30%) but doesn’t disappear. The color looks brownish, not bluish, and the dark area extends toward the inner corners and nose bridge. My under-eye skin feels very thin. I’ve tried creams with niacinamide, peptides, haloxyl, matrixyl 3000, vitamin K2 with minimal improvement. Ayurvedic oils like Ksheerbala caused whiteheads, so I stopped. My sleep, diet, and blood tests (iron, B12, thyroid) are normal.
