Fat transfer to the upper eyelids - is this not a commonly performed procedure?

Hello, I have been seeking a plastic surgeon who would do UPPER eyelid fat grafting for some time now to no avail. I am wondering if this is not a commonly performed procedure or if I'm looking for the wrong type of surgeon? Should I be looking into occuplastic? I am seeking a solution for hollow upper eyelids. Thanks

Fat transfer to the upper eyelids for hollowness is a less common procedure, and that may be the reason you are having difficulty finding a surgeon. We perform full face fat grafting, including grafting to the upper eyelids when indicated. The surgery does take more expertise and experience because of the unique anatomy of the upper eyelid and orbital septum. Call around to find out who performs facial fat grafting in your area. We perform the procedure in the office with sedation anesthesia.
