It has been 20 days now. The attached photo shows various stages of the dimples. Four questions: are the dimples in the normal location on my cheek, how much longer will they remain based on the photos, will they be permanent, and can anything be done after 4 weeks to remove the dimples?

Answer: Dimples Thank you for your photos with your question. The photos are very helpful. First, It is normal to have some puckers and dimples that will resolve within a couple weeks of the procedure, and yours do seem to be resolving, albeit slowly. Your dimples seem deeper than I typically see after the procedure to start with which can be technique dependent. This is a highly technique dependent procedure that for best results requires an understanding of facial anatomy and lifting vectors and is best performed by surgically trained dermatologists and plastic surgeons.I hope this helps!Dr. Quenby Erickson, DO, FAAD, FACMS

Answer: InstaLift Thank you for your photos. Dimples should resolve within a couple weeks. It’s difficult to tell with just photos. For more information, I recommend getting a formal evaluation from your provider. As always make please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
