If I have Silhouette will there be many scars that will affect a good result for a future facelift?

Scarring or any other effects from Silhouette Instalift treatments should likely not have any major impact on the results of a future facelift, as the results of Silhouette Instalift tend to be more short-term compared to those of a facelift. It is common for patients to pursue repeat Silhouette Instalift procedure two years after their previous treatment. I recommend that you seek an in-person evaluation with a facial plastic surgeon or plastics surgeon who will perform a thorough examination and discuss with you the best rejuvenation treatment options including Silhouette Instalift that will meet your goals.

This should not affect any future facelifts you decide to have. The InstaLift procedure does not leave scars on the face. The InstaLift is minimally invasive and should not interfere in any way with your decision to have a facelift in the future should you desire one. You can repeat the InstaLift in 18 months to 2 years if you wish to maintain your results. there is no reason to believe that the instalift would have any influence on a future facelift. there should be no scarring from he procedure.there is no reason that the procedure cannot be repeated. i would suggest at least 6 months between procedures to allow full healing and absorption.

Typically the Sillouette is performed without the need for incisions.  It is a nonsurgical facelift which is performed by placing needles into the skin with suture that combine 5,0 Vicryl suture and a material that stimulates collagen synthesis,  The result is a lift particularly in the mid face, lower face and jowls.   If a surgical face lift is needed later on, there is no contraindication to proceed.  I would wait minimally 3 months.  

Great questions! The good news is that there will not be any scars on your face that would affect your ability to have a facelift in the future. If anything, we like to have skin c good collagen quality when someone has a facelift and the Silhouette definitely improves collagen levels. You can have another Silhouette Lift in 2 years if you would like. Since the Silhouette Lift is still relatively new in the US (was FDA approved in late 2015) I don't think we have any definitive answers yet as to the numbers of Silhouette Lifts that can be done on an individual person, but since there is nothing left behind permanently, I think that there will likely not be limitations on number of treatments. I think that the Silhouette Lift is one of the best treatments available for patients who are starting to see some sagging since it lifts the skin as well as stimulates collagen production, so you get 2 benefits!
