Swelling 10 days after Silhouette InstaLift. Is this normal?

I am 10 days post procedure and I am still having swelling on the left side of my face. I sent pictures into the office 2 days ago and was told this was normal. I don't think the swelling has gone down much and I am super self conscious to go out into public. Has anyone had swelling like this after he silhouette instalift?

You probably had some swelling after the procedure, which is normal after any facelift procedure. Wait for 5-7 days and the swelling should subside. If not, consult the surgeon who did your procedure or a board certified plastic surgeon near you.

Yes, some degree of swelling is very common following the InstaLift procedure. This is a normal part of the healing process, and generally resolves by around the 2-week mark. If you still feel that the swelling looks too significant after that point or you also notice heat or increased tenderness in the treatment area, schedule a follow-up appointment with your provider.

Though not typical for swelling to last that long it is not uncommon. You can use some warm compresses to the area but do not rub the area. Be gentle in the area when washing. Be patient and the swelling should resolve. Good Luck!

Everyone's bodies react differently, however swelling post-InstaLift is normal and can last for up to two weeks. While understandably unpleasant, swelling is just a normal part of the healing process. InstaLift is a great procedure with an incredibly high patient satisfaction rate. Just be patient and give it another week for your swelling to diminish - once it does, I'm sure you'll be very pleased with your results.
