Hello, I recently had Rhinoplasty 12 days ago. I am fully aware I am still in the healing process. My tip is currently VERY high and I hate the "piggy" look. I expressed my dislike for the "piggy" look before going into surgery so I do have faith it will drop while healing. Is there anything I can do or eat to speed up the tip dropping? I have been sleeping upright every night Keeping my nose taped up all the time I've been sleeping a lot Taking arnicaire pills everyday

It's quite common for the tip to be slightly elevated and appear pronounced following rhinoplasty surgery.  It can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months for the tip drop and for you to see a noticeable change.  I would also recommend that you share your concerns with your surgeon as well.Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon - Solomon Facial Plastic -Toronto, Canada

It is very early in the healing process and most tips are a bit elevated at this point. As the swelling subsides, the tip may settle down a bit.

There is nothing you can do to speed the process along.  The swelling postoperatively is elevating your tip.  This will resolve with time. Be patient and continue to followup with your surgeon.
