Solution to permanently reverse buccal fat removed?

Buccal fat removal could give a tired and aged look if performed to a patient with poor cheek bone definition and the cheek bones are NOT enhanced. 
Cheek bones are the support of the face ( mid and lower face). Therefore, if there is mild sagginess and the buccal fat is removed (the fat that gives fullness to the lower cheeks) the result will not be a chiseled face but as described above.

In my practice, if a patient has poor cheek bone definition and is candidate for buccal fat removal, he or she MUST enhance their cheek bones with either soft tissue fillers like voluma ( hyaluronic acid) or cheek implants before or at the same time of the buccal fat removal. If not, I don't perform the buccal fat removal.
Fat transfer to the face could potentially restore the fullness of the lower cheeks. In patients with dissatisfied buccal fat removal that could be candidates for reversing buccal fat removal with fat transfer, I usually enhance their cheeks before to determine if in deed the fat transfer is necessary. 

I would wait to judge your final result at 3-6 months. If you are not satisfied, then I would suggest using a series of Sculptra injections to the area.
