How do you get rid of fibrosis after liposuction?

Hello drs. I had liposuction and a BBL about 4 years ago. I didn’t get any post op massages but now I’m told I have fibrosis. I would like to go for liposuction and abdominal etching. The doctor informed me my results will all depend on how my body heals. I’m scared of the outcome now.

fibrosis is not normal and if you have it that means the liposuciton wasnt done properly and post care is needed immediately or a revision procedure.  If you are unhappy with your results please speak to your physician and ensure he was a full body VASER HD liposuction physciain wtih expensive experience in body shaping and not just traditional fat reduction.  At this point you should be using compression, RF treatments like venus legacy / exilis ultra / inmode forma or contoura and lymphatic massage to get you through healing.   We always add shock wave therapy such as cellutone, z wave, and eclipse evive to help prvent scar tissue formation and ensure an even and smooth result. It will take 6-12 months to see the final outcome.   If you are unhappy you can get a revision procedure by an expert in VASER HD lipo.  Best, Dr. Emer.

TorontoDoll. I appreciate your concern, however photographs would help. It is not clear if you have fibrosis, or scarring beneath the skin or contour irregularities from over resection of fat. In either case, improvement can be achieved with micro liposuction utilizing smaller cannulas. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation. Good luck.
