What procedures can permanently fix the space between high hips and buttocks (hip dips)? (Photos)

Question

Are there synthetic filler options? I have the problem of high hips or "hip dips" as people call them. There is an indentation in my sides between my buttocks and my protruding hips and it usually worsens with weight gain. What procedures are available. Are there synthetic fillers other than fat? If I were to get a fat graft to give myself smooth sides, would weight gain or loss affect the results later? Would the "hip dips" return?

Hello,Thank you for your question. Based on what can be seen you may be a candidate for Sculptra in that area, although you may need a lot in those areas. You also may consider using CoolSculpting to reduce your outer thigh to make the areas more proportional. You need to consult with a local physician in person to determine the best course of action. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the smoothest result. you would benefit from spot lipo and fat transfer to dip.It is hard to see from photo alone whether lipo above and below the dip would help
