I know that my face is ugly and I want to get surgery to fix it, but I don't know what would help. I am aiming for a nose job, and I also think removing fat from my cheeks would make it better because I look horrifying when I smile. What else? Thank you.
Answer: Ugly face It is important to understand that your face is not ugly. There are millions of people who have facial features like you and are not bothered by it. You can certainly enhance your appearance but you MUST first make sure that you are not basing your self esteem on your facial appearance alone or you will never be happy. RegardsDr. Janjua

Answer: Consultation needed Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. In order to evaluate the rest of your face, an in-person consultation would be helpful. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Getting plastic surgery will not resolve your self esteem. Thank you for your question and photos. I’m sorry to hear that you have such a negative self-image, because from your photos, you appear to have quite a good-looking face. While there are procedures that may help increase facial symmetry or balance your features, it’s important to understand that plastic surgery procedures are meant to enhance your natural beauty, not give you entirely new features. I suggest you practice developing a healthier self-image before you pursue elective surgery.

Answer: Facial Reshaping You have identified two facial features that you think would be aesthetically beneficial. The rhinoplasty is understandable and would be useful for your goals. Cheek fat removal is not what you need as you already have a thinner face and would not make any improvements when you smile. Whether skeletal enhancements such as chin, cheek and jaw angle augmentation may be useful requires computer imaging to help make those determinations.

Answer: Facial surgery Hello, You have used very harsh words to describe your face . There is some kind of gap between what you are , and how you see yourself. In such scenario , my advise it to avoid plastic surgery and consult a therapist first. Best wishes.
