I am sick to death and pissed off at my nasolabial lines. And as if that wasn't bad enough, my cheeks have drooped too, creating "shadows." So it's not just the line that starts that the corner of the nose I have to contend with, it's the shadow too! Which is another line that starts about a cm upwards of the corner of the nose and runs down, to connect to the naso line, creating a triangle. Can this be completely eradicated?
Answer: Facial fillers to the max? Be careful requesting aggressive fillers for your mid face. Fillers should provide a nice natural improvement to the area, blunting the lines. Overdo it and your face will look puffy and unnatural! Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist.

Answer: Fillers It is always best to be seen in person to determine what can be achieved. Many times cheek fillers will help soften the upper nasolabial fold but the fold itself often needs filler as well.

Answer: Fillers Dear likelotus, Completely eliminating the nasolabial fold is somewhat difficult and usually results in a very unnatural almost Simian or monkey appearance to the face. The goal in any soft tissue filler procedure of the face should improve the soft tissue facial buttresses resulting in a more youthful, fresh and natural appearance. Having said that, a significant reduction in the appearance of the nasolabial folds with aggressive use of soft tissue fillers can be beneficial in some patients. The use of products such as fat transplantation, Juvederm Voluma or biostimulatory products such as Radiesse may provide the kinds of improvements you are looking for. Other facial buttresses such as the orbital malar groove, malar imminence cheek and jaw line, as well as lip shape may also be important in keeping harmony in your face using soft tissue fillers. I helped develop and pioneer a procedure called the VolumaLift using Juvederm Voluma to lift and shape and transition faces to a more youthful natural appearance using soft tissue fillers. The nasolabial fold is one of the many reasons that are analyzed and treated. I think you will be able to achieve the aesthetic results you’re seeking, but is important to have consultation with an experienced and certified specialist with a special interest, passion and good reputation for soft tissue fillers. I hope this information has been of some assistance and best of luck. For more information, please review the link below. R. Stephen Mulholland, M.D. Certified Plastic Surgeon Yorkville, Toronto

Answer: What to fill It sounds to me like you have more than one area that would need filler. I would start with posting photos! But as an injector and just based on description, I would think you would have a good result with Voluma to the medial and outer cheeks, and then possibly add filler to the NLF lines too. But filling the cheeks and creating volume there will often help alleviate what you're talking about with shadowing. I wouldn't "just" fill (or overfill) the NLF lines themselves.
