I've been told that now I'm allowed to wear any bra post breast augmentation, however does that include sticky bras? I'm worried pulling the bra off would pull my skin a lot and disrupt my implants. Also, am I able to use breast tape after breast augmentation?
Answer: Tape Tape will not damage your implants unless it holds the breast up too high for too long. Tape could damage your skin. Most sticky bras are made to avoid skin damage and are not strong enough to damage implant positioning.

Answer: Sticky bra At some point you will be able to wear any bra, sticky bras, and bra tape, but the timing will vary based on how you're progressing through recovery. You will want to ensure that the incisions are completely healed before using a sticky bra or bra tape over them. Check with your surgeon for specific guidance.

Answer: Sticky bra should be fine. Hi 5a5ha123, Your body naturally forms a layer of scar tissue (the capsule) around an implant, and this serves to hold the implant in place. I am assuming you are several months from surgery, as your surgeon has cleared you to wear any bra. If this assumption is correct, then minor tugs and pulls on the skin should not impact your implant position, as the implant will be held in place by the deeper capsule layer. Hope this helps! Answer: Bras post op breast augmentation Hello, thank you for your question. You should be able to wear breast tapes and sticky bras about 6 weeks post operatively, however you should remember that these types of undergarments do not provide much support. Implants make for a heavier breast and require a nice supportive bra. Over time in several years gravity slowly pulls down on your breasts and can create droopy breast and loose skin. A nice support bra would be the best way to slow down this process. its not a guarantee since its normal for breasts to drop over time. thank you

Answer: Postoperative protocol Dear 5a5ha123, every surgeon has a preferred type of bra that they let their patients wear after breast augmentation, as this would depend on various factors like the type of surgery performed and the size of the implant used. You should discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and follow his or her advice.
