I had my rhinoplasty done in Turkey about 7 months ago. From the very first day I noticed unevenness in my nostrils. I was advised by my surgeon that identical nostrils are unrealistic and to be patient. It is now 7 months and my the difference is still persisting. It’s not just a bit of assymetry it’s major. Every-time I bring it up to my surgeon he says it’ll fix itself with time. I’ve also started wearing a nose retainer recently. Is this permanent or is there hope?

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos your nose is still too swollen. I cannot make any decent consultation. After 1 year the consultations will be much more decent. Best Regards!
During an alarplasty, a portion of someone's nostril is surgically removed. I am unaware of any techniques to widen the base of the nose once it has been surgically narrowed. I wish I could be here for the help to you. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hello, hope you are well. It appears you had a dorsal reduction which lowered your bridge modestly. I would not suggest that your bridge was 'over-resected' or that there are any other overt deformities based on these photos, but that doesn't mean that the result did not match your expectations....
