Hello, I’m planning on having a mini tummy tuck, but the only month I can do it is April. I live in Montreal, where winters are too cold and summers are boiling. By mid-June it will be up to 25 degrees or more. Considering that I have to recover, wear a binder and hide the scar would this be reasonable timing? 2-3 ahead summer? My other option is wait a year and do it in September. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Answer: Healing time Dear RealSelfMember09903993, every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. Weather doesn't affect the healing process. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Answer: Weather The weather will no have impact on your mini tummy tuck results. Some patients choose the timing of their surgery based on a planned vacation or a special event. If you are warm with the compression garment you can elect to stay in the air conditioning. You will need to protect your incisions from the sun for a full year after surgery. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
