Tuberous breasts or just small and saggy? (Photos)

Question

I’ve always hated my breasts. They look less pointy and more normal when my nipples are erect, but I’m extremely self conscious of them in general. Are they tuberous or just small and saggy with big/puffy areolas? My weight fluctuates a lot, and they tend to change depending on this. I’ve recently lost around 30 pounds.

Unfortunately, weight loss can affect your breasts. While they do not appear tuberous, there is some loss of volume and pointy shape with puffy areolae as you stated.

Implants will improve upper fullness, volume and shape. Puffy areola will improve also.

If you want even more perkiness, then an areolar (donut) lift can be added.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to confirm this as well as discuss your options and expectations.

Hard to tell from pics alone, but at the most you have a mild or Type 1 tuberous breast.  The only reason to classify this is to best determine the type of procedure (if any) you mght desire.

You'll need to be specific with your doc about what bothers you about your breasts.

You mentioned that your weight changes a lot, so you would want to be sure you are at a point of long term weight stability before doing any kind of suregry.

I am not sure that one can call your breasts typical tuberous breast,  based on these photos. In any case, augmentation with implants would solve the problem of sagging; possibly reduction of larger areola for symmetry. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.
