Good Afternoon! The implants are permanent. The major risks associated with the procedure include implant migration, nerve damage, bone changes, and infection necessitating removal. Migration can occur at any period of time after placement. Nerve damage would be in regards to the proximity of V2 which controls sensation to the cheek. Bone resorption changes have occurred with implants over many years. The chances of needing the implant to be redone are quite low, though. Hope this is useful!

I don't think you need these implants. You could use some volume in your midface, but standard fillers or standard submalar implants could do fine. This implant is more than I would recommend.
