I noticed there's a big nerve by the nose and I'm wondering if it's at risk of being damaged when an implant is placed through the mouth. I can't visualize in my head how surgeons are able to work their way around it

I don't think you need these implants. You could use some volume in your midface, but standard fillers or standard submalar implants could do fine. This implant is more than I would recommend.
