I currently have 500-570 cc moderate implants. I’m scheduled for a lift. This is a photo of what I currently look like and what I’m aiming to somewhat look like I edited the photo to show what I was kind of looking for. More fullness on the bottom and sides, smaller areola and higher up areola. Would a lift basically look like this? Or would I need a bigger implant to get more fullness and volume like that?
Answer: Lift results From the submitted photos it does not appear that larger implants would be needed. A lift (assuming you have a standard lift and not just periareolar) will remove excess skin and raise the position of the nipple. The result will be an improvement in shape and ptosis.

Answer: Breast lift Dear newgirl14, based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from breast lift. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: Lift Don't go bigger or you will just sag sooner. Do the lift. If you want the lift to last, Go smaller so there is less weight on your tissue.

Answer: Circumareola lift with smaller implants Your breasts are wider than your chest wall and are mechanically unstable. You can see the flattening inferiorly and medially in both breasts. If this inferior and medial pocket is released then the implants may bottom out and you may look heavier. I would not recommend larger implants. I recommend smaller implants and redoing the pocket to correct the flatness medially and use a circumareola approach to get the nipple-areola complex higher. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lift could help improve the appearance; bigger implants only make the breasts bigger I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful.
