How does a facial fat transfer age with the face?

Question

Since the harvested fat is not native to the face, how will it change over time relative to the rest of the face? Will the sites that were injected look deformed/stand out as other areas lose volume?

Thank you for your question. Fat that is transferred to the face can not only restore lost volume but often improves the quality of skin as well. Transferred fat is susceptible to the same signs of aging as organically stored fat and will age at the same rate as the rest of the facial features.

Fat in different parts of the body really isn’t all that different.
If the procedure is done correctly results will follow and should give permanent improvement that will not be compromised due to age. 
Having facial fat grafting can rejuvenate the face though it does not inherently stop the aging process.
Facial fat grafting is inherently imprecise , unpredictable and can be unforgiving in comparison to facial volume augmentation using fillers.
Delivering consistent quality fascial fat grafting results is difficult and patients should approach this procedure with caution. Removing previously grafted fat in the face is difficult and sometimes not possible.
For most patients staying with fillers is a better options
