It is generally recommended that any invasive procedure, such as Botox injections, should be postponed if an active infection is present anywhere in the body, including a stye in the eye. This is because the risk of spreading the infection can increase with such procedures. However, the final decision should always be made by a healthcare professional. The physician will consider the location and severity of the stye, patient's overall health status, and other factors before making a recommendation. It's best to consult with the treating physician or a dermatologist for personalized advice.
Will be fine. injection area is away from the stye. Just make sure the area around your eye is not actively infected
As the injection is away from the location of the stye it should be fine to proceed with your treatment as scheduled. Your injector will be the one to make the final decision however.
There is no efficacy or safety issue with having a neuromodulator treatment (e.g. Botox, Dysport, etc) while at the same time having a stye. In fact, your dermatologist can give you treatment for your stye concurrently!
I usually put 1-2u of botox for these and works great. You should also be on a good skin regimen . Laser resurfacing would also help you
You read it right. Facial exercises have been proven to speed up the effects of Botox treatment. Ideally, it is best to do it near the area of injection. Best of luck to you
I'm not sure if botox was the trigger for the accentuated wrinkling. However non-surgical options such as plasma pen based eyelift and tripolar radiofrequency assisted eyelift are good options to explore before considering surgery!
