Makeup 1 week post Radiesse?

Hey! I’m getting Radiesse filler in the middle of my forehead for my circular-indented chickenpox scar (My cosmetician said Radiesse would be best to fix the scar) My birthday is about 8 days after the filler appointment, would it be okay if I only wore makeup on my birthday? I am seeing mixed reviews about when to apply makeup after.

Yes, you will easily be able to wear makeup 8 days after receiving radiesse filler. In fact, it is safe to wear makeup the next day after your procedure.

Lomo00, 8 days post Radiesse injection is certainly ok to wear makeup. I typically recommend no makeup for at least 4 hours after the procedure to allow the skin to heal and reduce the risk of injection. After that you can wear make up as you please! Happy Birthday!

Thank you for your question. You can definitely apply makeup and go back to your daily routine by your birthday! Generally, we recommend no alcohol or strenuous workouts for about 24 hours, and to avoid pressing on your face firmly where the filler is placed for 24 hours. Afterward, you are free to enjoy your results! I hope you have a wonderful and safe birthday.

In my opinion, it would be fine to apply makeup to a scar treated with Radiesse as soon as 3 days afterwards.  So, you would be fine using makeup 8 days after your treatment.

Makeup after radiesse should be fine, you could place it on even the next day. Just don't press hard.
