Glandular Tissue vs Fat with BodyTite: will BodyTite help me achieve a flatter chest? (Photo)

Question

I struggle with an over-developed chest. I do not have enlarged nipples but do feel a tough, rubber-like disc under each breast. I have been recommend BodyTite because it reduces excess fat and glandular tissue. Is BodyTite going to be helpful in achieving a flatter chest?

We have personally seen a great improvement with using Bodytite on the chest, but most men also need either liposuction or we have had to remove the tissue from underneath the nipples.

Power assisted liposuction under tum. local will plow through that glandular fibrous tissue under the chest tissue like nothing else.  Although all these fat melting devices are good in soft fat tissue, they are worthless in fibrous glandular tissue.

Thank you for your questions and photo. Based on your photo, I would recommend liposuction to the area. It is much more effective at removing tough glandular tissue. The Body Tite system can be done at the same time to shrink wrap the tissues around the area. In our office, we would do these procedures under local anesthesia with limited downtime. I use a variety of modern instruments to treat gynecomastia including Bodytite and Vaser. Both are very useful and work a bit differently. If very fibrous I prefer Vaser and if loose skin I prefer Bodytite and often use them in combination to treat gynecomastia. If there is a very firm disk under the nipple then I usually have to excise this in addition to the BodytiteVaser treatment.

You need to be physically examined by a plastic surgeon in order to determine if you need any treatments and what is the best treatment option for you.
