Thank you for your clinical post and photographs. Analysis of the photographs does show some
nostril flaring and a wide nasal base.
The left nostril is somewhat wider than the right and a symmetrical
alar-based reduction should improve the aesthetics.

There are a few excellent certified rhinoplasty surgeons in
Toronto that could perform this and get an excellent result. I have been performing cosmetic rhinoplasty
for over 20 years and having trained in both plastic surgery and ear, nose,
throat otolaryngology, nose is one of the more common procedures that I
perform. Toronto is a very multicultural
city and over the last two decades I’ve performed numerous nostril and
alar-based reduction on ethnic patients or patients with darker skin
colour. This requires a careful surgical
technique to minimize visible scars and in general this has worked out very
well for my patients.

The procedure itself is performed under local anesthesia as
an outpatient and the post-operative recovery is generally unremarkable.
