Hi,Thank you for your question. In our practice we recommend waiting 6 months post partum before coolsculpting treatment. Although your incision will be healed, the scar is still maturing up to 1 year and may be sensitive to the suction associated with treatment. It is also important to rule out any hernias prior to treatment. As always, please see an experienced provider for an individualized assessment and be aware that coolsculpting does not treat rectus diastasis, skin laxity or cellulite. Hope this helps!
I would recommend that you wait 6 weeks following childbirth, and are no longer breast feeding before you undergo a coolsculpting treatment. You also want to ensure that the incision from your c-section is completely healed as well. I would also suggest that you get the ok from your doctor before proceeding. Coolsculpting can be a very rewarding treatment, so it's best you set yourself up for success before moving forward.Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon, Solomon Facial Plastic, Toronto, Canada
Hi! Thank you for asking this question. I would not suggest any type of treatment until you are at least 6 weeks postpartum. I would also suggest letting your OB know you would like the treatment and be cleared prior to treating. Good luck and don't rush! The CoolSculpting experience will be there for you when your time is right!
A C-section usually takes at least 6 weeks to heal well enough to return to normal activities. I would wait at least that long before attempting CoolSculpting. However, I’d encourage you to let your body adjust to its post-baby state before rushing into fat removal. You might be able to lose the baby weight on your own. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who has been certified by Zeltiq to perform CoolSculpting.
We usually recommend waiting 6 months after childbirth for the weight to stabilize before any aesthetic treatments.
Thank you for your questionDepending on whether or not you are breastfeeding, and depending on what your gynecologist says, CoolSculpting should be more than safe to do after pregnancy. However, it is recommended that you wait at least 3-4 months after delivering your baby to help your body get back to a more normal size, that way you can get the results that you want without having your weight fluctuate too much. I recommend scheduling a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon well versed in all aspects of body contouring to determine if your an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting.Best of Luck ,Andrew T. It is recommended to wait 3-6 months before having Coolsculpting after childbirth. Keep in mind, Coolsculpting is good for stubborn areas of fat, but lacks skin tightening. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction, which can be performed at the same time as a tummy tuck, depending on skin laxity. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Waiting for about 6 months after child birth is adequate to let the body go back to non pregnancy state before doing coolsculpting. You can do coolsculpting even if you has C-section.
Thanks for your question. We usually recommend that patients wait 6 months and get cleared by their physician prior to treating with CoolSculpting post C-Section. CoolSculpting does wonders to bring the post pregnancy body back into shape. The results are smooth and natural looking, and best of all permanent. Good luck with everything!
CoolSculpting is perfect for that post partum belly. You should wait 6 months to be fully healed. Make sure you have a physician examine you to make sure that you do not have any hernias.
I would recommend dong CoolSculpting only after the ileostomy is reversed. There is currently no research information on treating patients with an ileostomy. If you are still interested in seeing if you are a candidate for the procedure, I would recommend going to a physician directed...
The side effects after CoolSculpting in no way indicate what kind of treatment results you will get from it. Outer thigh treatment results may take up to 4 months ( slightly longer than the other areas) and I would wait to see the full results before deciding to retreat just 1 side. ...
We CoolSculpt the banana roll area just under the buttocks all the time. The results are very impressive. We generally treat using the Cool Curve Advantage applicators. I would recommend that you set up an in-person consultation with a reputable CoolSculpting provider to be sure that you are a ...
