Can Coolsculpting be used on the back of thighs, just below buttocks?

The CoolMini applicator that’s available as part of Zeltiq’s CoolSculpting system can be used to treat the area just below the buttocks, otherwise known as banana rolls. If the bulge is a bit bigger, we can also use the new CoolPetite applicator. This area can be stubborn, however, and often needs more than one treatment for adequate correction. In some cases, the bulge is mainly skin and CoolSculpting will not help much. Your dermatologist will be able to tell if you’d be a good candidate, or if another solution would work better for you.
At our center, we offer DualSculpting, which means that you can have both areas under the buttocks treated at once. A true banana roll is treatable with Coolsculpting, and has recently been FDA approved by the company. Yes, CoolSculpting can be used on the back of the thighs, just below the buttock (banana rolls). It's an FDA-cleared area for treatment and we've had great results w/ this treatment. Yes, Coolsculpting can be used to target this area. Keep in mind, some people need more than one treatment of Coolsculpting. Also, for best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing to improve your final results.
