In my opinion, CoolSculpting is the most effective noninvasive body-contouring modality available. I have been using CoolSculpting for more than 5 years, and my patient satisfaction rate is extremely high. Zeltiq has done a tremendous job of adapting to the changing needs of patients and doctors by creating new applicators that can reach small, flat and contoured areas of the body that don’t have “pinchable” fat. I can now remove about 35% of fat during a single treatment session. At our center, we always follow CoolSculpting with a session of Zimmer Z-Wave radial pulsed therapy to help break up the fat cells and make your ultimate results more uniform. Other devices remove less fat in one session so that more treatments are needed for the same result, and time and money may be wasted. Please find a board-certified dermatologist who is certified by Zeltiq to help you reshape your body using CoolSculpting.
There's a reason CoolSculpting has so quickly become an incredibly popular option for non-surgical body contouring: the results speak for themselves. Our patients have been very happy with the level of fat reduction they've been able to achieve with the help of CoolSculpting compared to other treatments they've tried. I encourage you to do plenty of research before deciding which treatment could be best for you.
Hello, Thank you for your question. As of right now, Coolsculpting is the number one far reduction technique! Please consult with a local physician to determine exactly what you need! Good luck!
Coolsculpting is good for removing stubborn areas of fat that can't be improved with diet or exercise. Also, keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing to improve your final results. In our office we use Coolsculpting and Vanquish for a "Fire and Ice" treatment and are getting great outcomes. However, VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF would give you best results for body shaping, but would require more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
CoolSculpting yields sensational results that are permanent, smooth and natural looking. And, one of the best things about CoolSculpting is that it removes 20-25% of the fat from the treated areas. We have treated tens of thousands of patients with CoolSculpting and results have been consistently phenomenal. UltraShape does not treat as thoroughly or at as great a depth, therefore requiring more treatments and not yielding the same type of change in the body. I highly recommend CoolSculpting to those who who seek a noticeable change. Good luck with your journey!
In my experience I feel that coolsculpting gives you better and more predictable results. Coolsculpting has done millions of treatments worldwide and would not be so popular if the results were not there.
This is a question we frequently get asked in my clinic as we have both CoolSculpting and UltraShape (as well as Vanquish which is another non-surgical treatment for fat reduction). Whether one treatment is 'better' than another, really depends on a number of factors. First, the location and amount of fat to be treated will be relevant and obviously that differs from person to person. The patient's tolerance for any discomfort will also be important, both during the treatment and potentially afterwards. Next, how many sessions in the clinic is the patient willing to attend, in order to conclude the course of treatment? And finally, how long is the patient willing to wait before they see noticeable results? Unfortunately it is not possible to say that one treatment is definitely 'better' than another, as it really depends on the individual patient and what is going to work best for them. I would suggest that you find a clinic that offers more than one type of treatment for non-surgical fat reduction and ask them for their recommendation after they have seen you, taking into account the considerations mentioned above. Good luck with your treatment!
CoolSculpting is the BEST. I have personally tried them all & we have three Coolsculpting machines with thousands of very happy patients.
We offer both procedures in our office. There is virtually no pain associated with UltraShape and some patients are concerned about the pain related to CoolSculpting. With the newer CS handpieces, this is minimal, but there can be tenderness and swelling after CoolSculpting. As I said, we have had no patients report pain from UltraShape either during or after the procedure. We utilize dual procedures in most cases but CoolSculpting is probably our anchor procedure I believe it is, in the main, more effective than UltraShape. We use UltraShap[e to clean up areas that were not adequately addressed by our other combination procedures. For those patients who desire absolutely no discomfort we will use UltraShape as the primary treatment. This form of treatment does require three or four sessions. I would seek out a clinic that has multiple modalities for noninvasive treatment of fat. Adrienne Stewart MD FAAD
Hi donnayuen,CoolSculpting has become the world's number one non-invasive treatment to reduce fat permanently because, when done right, it works extremely well. What's more important than choosing a technology, however, is choosing then right clinic/physician. I recommend looking for a clinic that has a lot of experience and can show you before and after photos of actual patients treated by them. Further, to enhance your CoolSculpting results, you should look for a clinic that uses Zwave therapy in combination with CoolSculpting as your results will be superior than just doing CoolSculpting alone. Please do your research. All the best, Manish Khanna MD FRCPC.
When treating the same areas again with CoolSculpting, it is important to wait 4 weeks between treatments. The swelling and numbness from the first treatment need to subside before treating the areas again. We frequently treat patients one month post treatment, and see amazing results all the...
CoolSculpting® affects people differently. While many people have little to no pain or discomfort after being treated, others may experience some soreness for a few days afterward. Therefore, ease back into your normal exercise routine and be patient with yourself. Further, if you are still ...
CoolSculpting is a very effective procedure for treating small pockets of fat. It is not, however, a weight loss procedure, and is generally not used to address larger amounts of fat accumulation. Further, CoolSculpting is not recommended for people who have a BMI greater than 40. Therefore, the...
