Dark Spots on Body? (photo)

Question

In '11 I got these rashes that turned in2 these dark spots after itching them. Before they were scars went 2 several dermatologists who were unable 2 identify the rashes(said just bacteria). Went after they were scars & were told they would fade over time. 2yrs later using over the counter products they are still there. Would Like 2 kno what other treatments I should look into and how long of treatment I would be looking @ & roughly how much I would be spending I am of African and Indian decent.

I would use a combination of Melarase AM and Melarase PM followed by MelaPeel treatments once monthly. This will help improve skin discoloration over a period of months.

The scars on darker skin types are a challenge to treat as the skin contains more melanin than lighter skins.  The fading creams recommended are likely not as strong as prescription varieties and you should seek the advice of a dermatologist in cosmetic medicine that will recommend a prescription product to fade the skin. Continual use of sunscreens will be necessary as you will likely see the area return to it's dark state after exposure if it is not covered.  The best solution is to keep it covered, remain out of the sun and seek a consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist for a lightening product, likely containing hydroquinone.
