I got the scar when I was a child and split my head open. I am 21 now and it is very noticeable and makes me feel insecure. Can I get get a kind of treatment that won't be too expensive in the UK?
Answer: What Can I Do to Reduce a Scar on my Forehead...
Its completely normal for blemishes or scars to cause insecurities at any age. The best option for scar revision is usually excision using plastic surgery techniques. Sometimes the scar can be reoriented so it is in a better direction. Also, after the excision, some dermabrasion may further smooth the scar. A board certified facial plastic or plastic surgeon can give you a good idea how much the scar can be improved.

Answer: Laser Treatments can help reduce the appearance of scaring Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Laser Resurfacing for Traumatic Scars on Face
Laser Resurfacing for Traumatic Scars on Face has been proven successful. No laser treatment or surgical removal of the scar will make the scar disappear completely. Laser resurfacing, as with the Fraxel laser, may help stimulate new collagen, soften the surface irregularities of the scar and make it 'blend' better with the rest of the skin around it. Multiple treatments are required. Recovery and side effects from treatment are minimal, with proper post-operative care.

Answer: Scar revision I see patients with this issue all the time. You can have the scar surgically excised and reclosed using plastic surgical technique to improve its appearance. If the scar is spread, depending upon its size, it can be excised and closed in one sitting or via serial excision to leave the smallest possible resultant scar. These are both office based procedures but I can't comment on the cost of fee for service procedures in the UK.
