Will the number of incisions for FaceTite affect the result of the procedure? (Photo)

Question

Hello, I had a buccal fat removal and FaceTite procedure to enhance my jawline and excess loose skin under my chin.It is day 5 after the surgery and I just noticed that my Dr only performed with one incision (under my chin) for the Face Tite when I thought he will do 3 incisions. Will the number of incisions for FaceTite will affect the result of the procedure? Thank you

Normally, just a small puncture is made for the FaceTite procedure.  The number used and the placement of these entry points can depend on the physician performing the procedure and the areas of the face and/or neck being treated.  If the areas being treated on the face could be reached by just using one entry point under the chin, this should not affect the results.  If I am treating the lower face and under the chin, I normally will use 3 entry points.  These would be located behind each earlobe and one under the chin.  If I felt I could reach the areas I was attempting to improve with just one entry point below the chin, I would not see a problem with this.  I would encourage you to discuss your concern with the physician who performed your procedure.

Thanks for your question! FaceTite doesn't always need a true 'incision' - some surgeons will simply make an insertion site with an 18 or 16g needle! Double check with your surgeon about their approach but the number of incisions shouldn't affect your outcome.Best of luck!

Well, you have to have enough entry points to do an effective treatment. this will obviously vary by the provider and their experience and technique. I have been using a needle to create the entry points, so there is no visible scar
