Great question,Let me say that the answer is yes and no. I am sure many people will tell you that you can really "shape" your eyebrows however the reality is close to this, but not as easy and straightforward as it sounds. When you inject Botox, it works by weakening the muscles in your forehead and around your eyes. When we do injections to help raise your eyebows we basically alter the normal "balance" of the muscle pulling your eyebrows up (your forehead muscle) and the muscle pulling them down (the muscle around your eyes). So you can imagine, if we weaken the muscle around your eye, your forehead muscle will not pull more and your brows will elevate. So, you end up getting brows that are higher. The problem is, that you can't really "shape" them how you like it. There is alot of variation between people. the most common effect people get is the outside portion of the eyebrow gets raised more than the inside (think Nicole Kidmann) . This is a common result for people who like this. If you want the middle portion of your eyebrow to look different, this is much more difficult to achieve and I would really question anyone who says differently. It may work, but it may not. I realize its a long winded message, but hopefully this is informative and you can at least know what to expect. In the end, there is a high chance Botox will help you achieve a nice shape to your eye brows safely. I've put a link here as well, its a small article I wrote talking about the basics how how Botox works. Dr James P.
