Botox is not something that can do what you are interested in. Botox works by relaxing muscles around your eyes and forehead and really can do three main things around your eyes. 1) Lift your eye brows - Botox, if done properly can provide and "arch" to your brows. In some people, this is considered a complication, but others like the look 2) Open the distance between your eye brows - Botox can often make the space between your eyebrows appear wider and more "awake" and refreshed. This is the most common use for Botox. 3) Reduce wrinkling on the sides of your eyes - This is another very common use of Botox. Otherwise, you can not change the shape of your eyes. James P. Botox injection will not change the general character of your eye anatomy. It will paralyze muscles that cause wrinkles.
The best way to determine what is best for you is to see a physician in person. You should see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss your options.Best,
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to answer your question without an in person consultation. Botox can slightly open the eye, but will not change the shape dramatically. The hight of an eyebrow arch depends on the anatomy of your face and technique.Best,
jazzy2498,Generally the shape of the eye and the orbit will not be changed by Botox, and used for cosmetic purposes, Botox should not be used in the orbital region at all, apart from the lower lateral crows foot lines. In the oribit, Botox can cause drooping of the upper lid and laxity of the lower lid, both of which are undesirable. Regarding brow elevation, with proper technique and proper paralysis of the crows foot lines and selective weakening of the forehead muscles, up to 5mm of elevation, or more can sometimes be attained. I have a photo of chemical browlift posted on RealSelf, demonstrating that. I hope that this helps. A link below provides more information regarding Botox use for facial shaping.
Dear jazzy2498Botox can do some very nice things. The closest you can get to a cat eye look would be tohave an injection at the lateral end of the eyebrow. This will raise the position of this part of theeye brow. Please see a boar certified plastic surgeon for more information.Dr. Tony MusarraMarietta, Ga.
I would recommend that you book a follow up with your injector to determine why you getting this reaction. It could possibly just be that you need a botox touch up in that area.
I don't know how many units you were treated with, but cosmetic treatments are usually 50 units or less. I have not heard of anyone getting true "botulism" from Botox, as the injectible is a derivative of it. It's botulinum toxin, which is different. Please make certain that at least one of your...
Every surgeon has your preference. In my opinion, I would get your blepharoplasty first then allow for appropriate you doing over several months. After complete healing then reevaluate your
