Question

I have an extremely recessed jaw and mid face, which also causes me to have a down turned crooked nose. I have consulted with an orthodontist who said my bite is fine and doesn’t need to be fixed. For context I also have an asymmetrical face and teeth.

When orthognathic surgery is not an option with a good bite, onlay bone augmentations can be done. The midface can be very effectively augmented by custom midface implants while the chin can be treated either by an implant or a sliding genioplasty. The nose can be straightened and upturned with conventional septorhinoplasty maneuvers. All of these procedures can be combined to be done all in one surgery.
