I started massaging both breast 2 weeks ago (6 weeks after the surgery). My surgen thinks the one which is a bit higher in position will be drop by time. but I want to know other surgeons idea too. Is it really gonna drop to its right position? I wish if I had started massaging breasts earlier.
Answer: Implant dropping Dear Fierce2932, dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. Answer: Breast symmetry Time will tell. Remember that swelling can take months to resolve and be patient. Drink alot of water and decrease your salt intake (to help decrease swelling) and keep following all your surgeon's recommendations. Seems you are progressing well.
