Its been 5 months since I had FaceTite done, is it normal for it to still be tender and feeling numb?

I was put to sleep during facetite with anesthesia because I was extremely anxious. I hear most people have it done under local anesthetic and are somewhat awake during the procedure. Does this have anything to do with why I am not seeing any signs of improvement? It has been 5 months and I still feel numbness and have the same amount of skin under my chin.
