If it does not look random now, it probably will not look random later.  It is best to address your concern with your doctor.

What your head looks lıke after hair transplant operation and after 1 year of the operation are not the same. From your photo your condition looks good.

A random pattern is what we aim to achieve to give the most natural appearance.  The angle, density, depth & location of sites are critical and all a part of the expertise necessary in the design of a hairline, temple or even a crown whorl.  A solution if you don't like your result is to do scalp micropigmentation aka SMP (see link below), a revision transplant  (see link below) or wear your hair longer. 

I usually use a random pattern and diamond shape distribution for achievement of natural look . İmplanting the grafts in a row like fashion would not yield a good natural result. 

Recipient sites must be random and not placed in rows becuae it may look abnormal and our natural distribution of hair is randomly found
