There's no scientific evidence between Covid 19 and hair transplantation. The only thing you should pay attention to is that the clinic you choose follows the necessary caution and takes sanitary rules into account. Covid 19 will not affect your hair transplant results. Good luck.
Hi and thanks for your question! In short, there isn't much data on the effects COVID may have on hair transplant success. The further out from the illness, the lower the likelihood of an interaction causing a true effect. Theoretically, COVID can cause issues with the microvascular system which is how the new grafts "take" via a new blood supply. One way to mitigate this risk would be to have hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the immediate postop course. I hope this helps answer your question- there isn't much in the literature about this just yet so you may find surgeons with slightly different opinions.Best of luck!
COVID-19 will not affect the end results of hair transplant in any shape of form. It is better to see your photos in order to understand the problem you have, treatment methods and/or estimate how much graft do we need to cover area and cost of operation.

Based on the pictures, it looks like you would need between 1,500-2,000 grafts to lightly cover your crown. Important things to consider are your age, if you are on finasteride or not, and the state of your donor hairs, as the crown normally uses quite a bit of donor hair before it looks fully...
