Hi and thanks for your question! In short, there isn't much data on the effects COVID may have on hair transplant success. The further out from the illness, the lower the likelihood of an interaction causing a true effect. Theoretically, COVID can cause issues with the microvascular system which is how the new grafts "take" via a new blood supply. One way to mitigate this risk would be to have hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the immediate postop course. COVID-19 will not affect the end results of hair transplant in any shape of form. It is better to see your photos in order to understand the problem you have, treatment methods and/or estimate how much graft do we need to cover area and cost of operation.
