Hello i am a 45 year old female from Iran i am looking to treat my marionettes & jowls I’d like to know if sculptra can help and how many vials over how many sessions are suggested for my face thank you!

Sculptra offers results that last about two years, and when it first came to market I was one of the first to adopt its use because of the longer duration of its cosmetic benefits when compared with the fillers available at the time. It was expensive and typically required three treatment sessions on average to achieve results. However, I stopped using Sculptra a number of years back when more robust HA fillers (that had results lasting up to two years) entered the market and produced results in general after just one treatment session (i.e. immediate results that typically engenders a "Wow!" reaction).  The use of fillers for marionette lines and jowls along the jawline are routine treatments in any active cosmetic dermatology practice. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

While Sculptra may be an option to improve volume loss, you may consider other options as well.  FaceTite  uses RF technology to tighten skin up to 40%.  Results can be enhanced with Morpheus8 treatments.  HA fillers can also be used to improve lost volume.

Thanks for sharing your photos. I visualize your concerns regarding aging related lateral oral commissure – marionette folds and jowling. I also see nasojugal and nasolabial folding and mild temple hallowing. Please consider Sculptra to stimulate, firm and tighten all of these areas and your skin as well. Injections of Sculptra specific to folds work only there. Why not take advantage of this terrific collagen stimulating medication to contract the entire face.  You can then consider a minimally invasive ThreadLift to elevate the descending facial skin and soft-tissues without surgery or go to a 2 layer facelift as options.  Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with non-surgical, minimally invasive and surgical experience to review the benefits, limitations, comparisons of each with you. I would recommend 3 sessions of 2-vials each session Sculptra during the first year followed by a yearly maintenance of 2-vials.  I hope this is helpful. All the best!

On the three photos you have provided, I see volume loss and skin laxity. A combination of Sculptra to restore lost volume, Dysport to relax the downward full of the platysma muscle, and possibly HA filler like Restylane Defyne directly injected into the marionette lines will give you a nice result. I would also consider a skin tightening procedure (RF, ultrasound) and topical skincare products to thicken and tighten the skin. The best thing for you to do is schedule an in-person consultation with an experienced local physician.

Sculptra is not indicated to be injected into the nasolabial folds or the oromandibular folds also known as the marionette lines. When injecting it to these areas it can cause quite a number of problems. I would recommend you undergo fat grafting instead  in order to rejuvenate your face. In my hands fat grafting makes the patients look like themselves 20 years before fat grafting . The results are natural and practically permanent. I hope this helps and good luck from your city.
