Please doctors! Will I stay looking like miss piggy forever? I hate my front profile. I wanted the bump on my nose removed and my nose bit more narrow but instead I came out looking like a pig from my front profile. The side looks nice but I cry every single day because the front of my face looks like a pig. I'm regretting this procedure and it's devastating because it was so expensive. I've had comments that I look like the people from the grinch movie too. Would I need a revision after12 months?

Answer: Unsatisfied after rhinoplasty Dear Leigh mag,you are still in the early stage of recovery. It is likely that shape of your nose will change as the swelling resolves. I would suggest you to be patient, follow your surgeon's instructions and discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Too early to think about revision! Thank you for the question! It is rather difficult to fully assess your situation without an in-person exam. That being said, it's much too early to worry about revision at 3 weeks post-op. At this time, you are likely to have swelling which will prevent you from seeing final results. It may take 6 to 12 months to resolve completely. I would recommend giving it some time for your nose to settle. If your swelling persists months from now, consult with your plastic surgeon. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your needs and guarantee a reliable medical advice. Best of luck!
