It is still early in your healing process to tell how your nose will turn out. There is still a lot of swelling three weeks post-op. Additionally, many noses can look upturned right after surgery due to the surgery itself and the swelling. With time, that may change. If you have concerns, please bring them up to your surgeon so they can guide you.It can take 6-12 months to fully heal from a rhinoplasty so patience is key.Best regards,Nima Shemirani

Dear LeighYour nose will continue to change significantly for the first 6-8 weeks and will then continue to change more slowly for the following year. You can expect a smaller tip and a softer looking nose. Be patient. You can't truly assess the shape for the first few months.be patient and follow your surgeons instructions. follow up with him and voice your concerns.

Fortunately many noses look overly upturned right after surgery due to the nature of the surgery and the swelling, and when this subsides the nose looks quite good.Make sure to touch base with your doctor and let them know your concerns.

Thank you for the question! It is rather difficult to fully assess your situation without an in-person exam. That being said, it's much too early to worry about revision at 3 weeks post-op. At this time, you are likely to have swelling which will prevent you from seeing final results. It may take 6 to 12 months to resolve completely. I would recommend giving it some time for your nose to settle. If your swelling persists months from now, consult with your plastic surgeon.  
An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your needs and guarantee a reliable medical advice. Best of luck!

It is way too early to judge the result of your rhinoplasty. The nose is very swollen and noses always looks too turned up or too short in the early postoperative period! Evens Ms. Piggy thought her nose was too short after surgery – but when it settled down it was just right. I think yours will be too. 

You are gorgeous!! And it's WAYYYY too early to make any judgements about your nose. If you broke your wrist and it was in a cast for 3 weeks would you expect it to look totally back to normal when the case is off in 3 week :) ?  It would be swollen, the skin would look different etc but over weeks and months it would return to normal. At 3 months you'll have some swelling out, by 6 months much more, and by a year it will all be out.

Thank you for your question.  I do believe that it is too early to think about revision.  Every body heals at different rates, however, it may take up to a year for a rhinoplasty to fully heal.  Give yourself some time and try to patient.
