I am thinking about rhinoplasty. I want a Scarlett Johansson type of nose. Would that compliment my face structure? (Photo)

Hello,Your nose and face already have many elements of Scarlett's nose and face. I think it would work well. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons (or AAFPRS equivalent) who specialize in rhinoplasty. Photographic simulation is essential to determine and communicate your goal appearance on your face. Best of luck!

first of all why do you want to look like Scarlett Johansson.  I think you’re much prettier.  Also, you don’t show any side views which would be helpful in determining  whether you are a good candidate for surgery.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your
photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose.   Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system. The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Rhinoplasty for reduction of the bulbous tip etc. Your tip is quite bulbous and can be reduced but not pinched if done by a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon. See several whose noses you like and are natural nose results. 

A rhinoplasty can dramatically change the way your face appears in person and in photos. The nasal base and tip can be refined for a more feminine and elegant look. It is best to have an in-office examination to evaluate the structural and functional anatomy of your nose. It is most important that changing the shape will not disturb and may hopefully even improve the function before deciding on a rhinoplasty to slim and refine the nose. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Thank you for the questions and photos. The difference between your nose and scarlet's nose is width. your tip and bridge are slightly wider than hers. The good news is that your tip and bridge can be refined and narrowed to make it more aesthetically pleasing. You can't have Scarlets exact nose because that is not possible but your feasures can be adjusted to meet your goals. You should consult with a rhinoplasty surgeon to look at your nose from multiple views and answer all your questions. 

Rather than try to give you a celebrity nose, it is much more important understand what can be accomplished with your current nasal anatomy.  Digital computer imaging would be helpful in the communication process to understand what can and cannot be accomplished with the procedure with your nose upon your facial features.  Rhinoplasty is a difficult endeavor, so it is imperative that  you choose your  surgeon wisely based on extensive experience.  It is also important to have very specific goals in mind on exactly what you are trying to accomplish, such as refining the nasal tip, narrowing the bridge line, and shaving down the dorsal hump.  A full set of facial photographs from all angles are going to be required to make a determination about how best to proceed with your nose, since the nose is a 3-dimensional structure and rhinoplasty is performed in all 3 dimensions.  For many before and after examples of what can be accomplished with a closed rhinoplasty, please see the link and the video below

Every nose is different and unique to that individual. If
the appearance of your nose concerns you enough to do something about it, it
can be improved with a natural artistically performed rhinoplasty. What would
be the best option and exact procedure would depend on an in
person examination (not just an online consultation) and discussion
about desired outcome. Excellent results can be achieved with either a closed
or open technique.
Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website
who proposes to tell you exactly what to do and how technically to do
it based on two dimensional photos without examining you, physically
feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical
history and discussing the pros and cons of the operative procedure would not
be in your best interest. Natural appearing results need to be individualized
and what is appropriate for one patient is not necessarily the best for someone
else. I would suggest that you find a surgeon with extensive rhinoplasty
experience certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and one who is
ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You
should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.
