I am trying to determine the best solution to my thighs. I feel like a need a butt lift and thigh lift. How do you know how your skin will respond? Liposuction made my inner thighs look worse. I already had an awesome tummy tuck. I don’t see that bodytight has consistent results.

Answer: BodyTite has a Good name only Hello,Like 'Smartlipo', the laser based liposuction machine from ten plus years ago that promised skin tightening, Bodytite and all the other gizmos do the same. They've got great names, but they don't deliver. If you truly have excess skin, Bodytite won't be anymore helpful than standard liposuction, and therefore won't eliminate the need for skin removal.

Answer: BodyTite vs. Excisional procedures While both are mean to treat laxity, these procedures are not interchangeable. It is not simply a choice between one or the other based on preference (if it were...very few would choose the more invasive option).The thighlift is the definitive/gold standard treatment for laxity in the thighs. It can be combined with liposuction to contour the thighs. While it is more effective, it is also relatively more invasive with a greater scar burden and longer recovery.BodyTite is an RF technology which induces an indirect tightening by heating. It is less invasive with a shorter recovery. Ultimately, results are more variable as your surgeon will deliver a certain amount of energy/heat. The response of the tissue to this energy will develop over the months to follow and will vary from patient to patient.With regards to your specific question, it is difficult to say for certain which procedure is best (without an in-person exam). Based on your photos, you would likely benefit from a formal thigh lift (however, this is ultimately a question of goals).As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).Donovan Rosas MD
