Thank you for your questions regarding if your thighs can be fixed with another thigh lift. I believe it is too WAY TOO early to tell whether your second thigh lift was a success. You are only two weeks and three days after your thigh lift or thigh reduction procedure and you are still healing. The fact that there is thigh swelling and bruising is indicative that you are still healing from your thigh lift. Therefore, give your body more time before you jump into another thigh reduction. However, if in six months, there is not significant improvement in the way your thighs look, I would NOT suggest a third or repeat crescent or groin thigh lift or thigh reduction. If your do indeed “require” another thigh lift, instead or a crescent or groin thigh lift, I would suggest an incision that goes from the groin partially down the inner thigh. This is called a modified vertical medial thigh lift. This will permanently remove excess skin and fat the inner, upper thigh. A full or vertical medial thigh lift incision extends from the groin to the inner knee. Both procedures involve thigh liposuction. Most of my thigh lift patients with a massive weight loss of a hundred pounds or more, have better thigh lift results with a vertical medial thigh lift than a modified vertical medial thigh lift or crescent or groin thigh lift. All in all, it is still too early to tell ANYTHING. Give yourself at least four to six months from your second surgery thigh lift surgery, before you re-evaluate your thighs.
