In my opinion, PRP produces the best results when using a large collection tube and subdermal injection. PRF is also effective but doesn't have the clinical trials to support it. Regenera Activa has one study but the results are not robust. When using any of these modalities, combination therapy works better than monotherapy. Regenera Activa is n o t available in the US and is more costly. Find a Hair Expert.Jeff Rapaport MD FAAD Realself Hall of Fame
Hello I'm Dr. Wipawan Vathananai, a co-worker of Dr. Kulakarn Amonpattana, from BHI Clinic, Bangkok, Thailand. In my opinion, all of above mentioned treatments are not that effective comparing to medications such as minoxidil or bicalutamide. PRP, PRF or Regenera Activa can act as growth factor only and they are much more expensive to the medications.
Thank you, Grisi for your question. It is recommended that you should consider going for PRP treatment for hair loss treatment. However, only a single session of PRP is not enough and multiple sessions may be required depending on the stage of your hair loss. It is also necessary that you start applying Minoxidil 5% topical solution twice daily on the areas of your scalp which are showing hair loss. This solution will supplement your PRP treatment and will give you the best results after 3 to 4 months. Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon near you and discuss this in detail.Wish you an alluring look.

In my opinion, only the LLLT would improve with hair trimming. The other modalities should retain effectiveness. I would assess results with an AI computer phototrichogram analysis and then decide if it's necessary to make changes. Find a hair expert. Jeff Rapaport MD FAAD Realself Hall of Fame
