Hello, I am a 30 years old woman and I have androgenetic alopecia. I want to know which of the treatments for hair loss might be most effective: PRP, PRF or Regenera Activa?
Answer: Reply to "Most effective treatment for androgenetic alopecia: PRP/PRF or Regenera Activa?" Hello I'm Dr. Wipawan Vathananai, a co-worker of Dr. Kulakarn Amonpattana, from BHI Clinic, Bangkok, Thailand. In my opinion, all of above mentioned treatments are not that effective comparing to medications such as minoxidil or bicalutamide. PRP, PRF or Regenera Activa can act as growth factor only and they are much more expensive to the medications.

Answer: PRP, PRF vs Regera Activa? Englewood Cliffs New Jersey In my opinion, PRP produces the best results when using a large collection tube and subdermal injection. PRF is also effective but doesn't have the clinical trials to support it. Regenera Activa has one study but the results are not robust. When using any of these modalities, combination therapy works better than monotherapy. Regenera Activa is n o t available in the US and is more costly. Find a Hair Expert. Answer: PRP with Minoxidil 5% topical solution Thank you, Grisi for your question. It is recommended that you should consider going for PRP treatment for hair loss treatment. However, only a single session of PRP is not enough and multiple sessions may be required depending on the stage of your hair loss. It is also necessary that you start applying Minoxidil 5% topical solution twice daily on the areas of your scalp which are showing hair loss. This solution will supplement your PRP treatment and will give you the best results after 3 to 4 months. Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon near you and discuss this in detail. Wish you an alluring look.

Answer: PRP for Hair Growth PRP is one of my favorite procedures for hair growth. After a consultation and evaluation we can properly determine if this is the best bet for you. In order to have best results DHT blockers are often used as well and can be in the form of natural or pharmaceutical agents. This helps stop the progression while we are working to regenerate hair follicles with PRP. On average a patient goes through three PRP treatments each spaced one month apart.
