Hello, I've had a hair transplant 1 month ago on my frontal area. I've had a big forehead since I was a kid, I did not have a receding hairline, I was not balding. I do have thick hair and i'm not balding anywhere. The clinic advises me to have 3 PRP sessions. These are €300 each. I'm wondering if it's really needed for me to have PRP if i'm not balding? Does it really help? And is it worth having just 1 session?

In my opinion, PRP is beneficial Before,  During  and After hair transplantation.  PRP increases the Percentage of hairs that survive after a hair transplantation. In addition it increases the  transplanted hair Diameter by 25%. As most individuals have pattern hair loss, the process is ongoing. The purpose of continuing PRP is to retain the native hairs. If indeed you do not have any hair loss, monthly treatments for 3 months should suffice.
