Hi. As you can see in the picture of my nose bridge, the area circled in red appears sunken in. This gives my face a slightly neanderthal-ish look. I was wondering if there's a way to fill that region and make my nose bridge protrude, without a highly invasive procedure.

Answer: Non-invasive way to 'fill' my nose bridge? Hyaluronic fillers can elevate the depressed area and produce a modest cosmetic improvement. They generally last 6-9 months. Micro-fat grafts are a more permanent filler, but require a more involved procedure. There are synthetic permanent fillers, but most plastic surgeons would warn against using them, especially in the nasal area because of the long term potential complications.Keep in mind that following advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do based on two dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling your tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history and discussing the pros and cons of each procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest that you find a surgeon certified by the American Board of American Plastic Surgery and one who is ideally a member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person.Robert Singer, MD FACSLa Jolla, California

Answer: Non surgical rhinoplasty The area of your concern is called the radix or root of the nose. That area happens do well with fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane. The benefits with these type of fillers is that they are safe, effective, and reversible if need be.
