Is There a Way to Fill Between the Teeth (Black Triangles) with Gum? (photo)

Question

I have had gum surgery on my lower jaw and the doctor had to remove the infected parts as shown on the picture, and now its really annoying me having these gaps between my teeth when I used to have gum, and Im wondering if there's some kind of a surgery to put back gum there, and how would it cost ? Thanks

unfortunately, the black triangles after the gum surgery could not be corrected. 

	did you have the gum surgery because of deep pockets?   Usually, Periodontal pockets happen due to bone loss surrounding teeth.  As the result the gum in that site is no longer attached to the root of the tooth.  Therefore the site presents with deep pocket that harbors bacteria which would lead to further bone loss and infection. 

	Gum surgery is preformed in these cases to get better access to the roots of the teeth to re contour the bone, and to clean the infected sites. As these sites heal,  inflammation in the gums is reduced, pockets reduced, but this will result in gum recession and black triangle. 

	So because of the bone loss that already existed as the result of periodontal infection, The gum will never fill in between the teeth again.

	Your dentist might be able to reduce the size of this black triangle slightly,  by adding some bonding to the teeth.

There are really only two options to predictably correct black triangles between teeth. One option is to place porcelain veneers to change the contour of the teeth with closed embrasures. The other option is to slenderize the teeth to make them less triangular and more square, and then move the teeth closer together with invisalign to fully close the space.
