Gum Line After Apicoectomy, Tooth 9! Help with Healing. Worst Case, Options to Fix?

There is always a risk of recession after oral surgery, especially if the gums are of thin type, or if there is some bone loss pre-existing. 

If the metal margins of your crown are showing, the only solution will be to change these crowns, and leave the margins of the new crowns under the new gum level.  The metal free crown will be the most esthetic.  Gum grafting will not predictably cover the metal margins of the crowns, since the new tissue could only attach itself to the root structure and not to metal or ceramic.

It is better to wait for at least 6 months of complete healing, to rule out further recession , before any other treatment on this site.

 you might be able to message the gum downward, using a rubber tip tool found at the pharmacy (G.U.M. Butler).  but ask your DDS to show you how to use this tool, It could cause more trauma to your gums if used improperly. 

Unfortunately there are no other remedies, exercises.
