I would like to have surgery done but I have 10 mo old twins that may want to be carried
Answer: Limiting lifting after breast augmentation There is no strict limit on lifting after a breast augmentation but my patients self limit due to discomfort. If your implant is placed below the muscle, the concern is muscular contractions could shift the implant. Usually waiting 3 weeks allows enough healing internally to prevent implant displacement.

Answer: Weight Limit after Breast Augmentation I like to limit my patients to no more than 20 pounds for the first three weeks. However, my moms often have slightly heavier children. You will be fine in a few days. Please feel free to talk to my patient coordinators Olivia or Steph for any additional questions. Hope to see you soon. :)

Answer: Lifting after breast augmentation I ask my patients to wait at least three weeks before any heavy lifting. If they need to lift a baby during the first three weeks, I ask them to keep their elbows at their side to that they are not stretching their pectoralis major muscle.

Answer: What is the weight limit that I can carry after breast augmentation surgery? Thank you for the question. Probably in your best interest to wait several more months before proceeding with surgery, unless you have more help available to you. I ask patients to wait 4 to 6 weeks before lifting more than 10 pounds. Also, best to be at your long-term stable weight (if you are not there already) prior to proceeding. Best wishes.
