Is it possible to get the bump on my nose shaven without changing anything else and without breaking it? I like my nose but I hate the bump and I really really really want to get rid of it but I don't want to change anything else. I like my nose shape and tip from the front but hate how it looks like for the side. Thanks in advance!
Answer: Nasal hump removal only It is possible to only remove the nasal hump and not change anything else. The only thing you have to be aware is that after removing the hump the nose can appear flat. To prevent that problem, we usually bring the side walls closer (osteotomies and infracture). Small bumps can be shaved down without any other changes being made. After removing larger bumps, the nasal bones need to be narrowed so that the nose does not look too wide.
