Dr. Losquadro is double-board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is affiliated with the Institute of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York.
Dr. Losquadro was thoughtful and listened to concerns regarding blepharoplasty. I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end and look forward to going back! The staff at the ambulatory surgery center were exceptional. Great team!
Dr Losquadro is the best. He did an amazing job with my revision septoplasty. The improvement is so significant, it has improved my quality of life. I also asked him to do a subtle cosmetic change, which is so natural looking, you wouldn’t even know I did anything….. but I know, and I love it!! I will definitely being doing other surgeries with him, and will be so confident that I am in good hands.
Dr. L is the best of the best. I am so glad I chose him As my doctor. He is very informative and patient and walked me through every step. He answered all my questions and made me very comfortable and sure of my decision.
Dr. Losquadro is an excellent with great bedside manner. The surgery went as well as possible. All the surrounding aspects of having an operation went according to plan and prediction. His staff is very, very accommodating. The caution is that it is hard to reach him by phone. The parent company had not at the point of my surgery in 2023 figured out how to work the phones, and no one answered my incoming call to advise I was running late for more than an hour until I hung up. This may persist. It may be easier to use the portal if you can, but definitely get a phone number for the surgical coordinator, as she is apparently not on the main phone system. With the alternate phone number, everything runs smooth as silk.
I had issues with my nose going back years. I had injured my nose on a few occasions and had been suffering from a deviated septum. Back in 2022 I started to do my research in finding a surgeon who could fix these issues. Dr. Losquadro was one of the local surgeons to my area and had come recommended by one of my ENT doctors. My first consultation with him left me feeling incredibly confident in his abilities. What I respected the most about Dr. Losquadro was that he was open and honest about what he can and can't do. This is important when it comes to finding a great surgeon, many surgeons may overpromise and under deliver on results. Yet, Dr. Losquadro assured me of his abilities and had examples of work that he's done with previous patients. The process was relatively straight forward. I had booked the surgery in June of 2023. I had my pre-op appointment the week before just to confirm what work was going to be done and what I should expect following my surgery. I arrived at the Yorktown Surgery Center early and waited about an hour before I was operated on. Then I was brought into the surgery room and that was my last memory before waking up after the surgery was completed. When I woke up I remember feeling a burning sensation around my eyes and a few tears coming down, this is common when work is being done to the bridge of the nose. My nose was congested due to the buildup of blood inside. I went into the bathroom and immediately I could see a massive difference in the appearance. This put my mind at ease the surgery was a success. The first week was incredibly difficult only because congestion makes it difficult to get proper rest, but once that first week is done it gets easier. It's been a year now and my nose healed incredibly well. The nose tip is main part of the nose that has taken the longest to heal. If you have a thick skin like myself, nose tip swelling will continue for about a year or more. My breathing had improved as well and overall I could not be happier about the results. If you are looking to have rhinoplasty and are considering Dr. Losquadro I would highly recommend to follow through with it. Both he and his staff are incredibly kind and honest people (which is sometimes rare in the plastic surgeon community). I cannot recommend him enough.
I have been thinking of having a revision rhinoplasty/septoplasty for several years. I consulted with 6 surgeons in Boston and New York before choosing Dr Losquadro. I chose him because he was straight forward, easy to talk to, and confident that he could improve both my functional and cosmetic concerns. He did imaging to give me sense of what my nose would look like, and so far, a month and a half out from surgery, Im very satisfied with the results. Im of course still experiencing some swelling, but I feel so much more confident with my appearance and no longer am worrying about the functional issues that I was dealing with before surgery. This is the first review I've ever written, but I wanted to share my journey because I found other reviews extremely important as I was figuring out the best surgeon for me. I had very high expectations of what I wanted to achieve from my surgery and I'm so happy that I found a surgeon who was able to deliver. I would absolutely recommend Dr Losquadro to anyone who is seeking a revision surgeon.
After years of dripping and increasing sinus infections, I sought Dr. Losquadro's expertise to do a revision rhinoplasty and septoplasty as well as widen my bridge a bit so I could breathe normally. It will be three weeks tomorrow and I feel like a million dollars! The swelling and bruising was more than expected but he had a lot of work to do. He also refined my tip in a lovely way. Im certain I will love all aspects of my functioning new nose. I found Dr. Losquadro to be extremely professional, has a soft touch, answerer all my questions and concerns and was never condescending. I'm so very glad I did my research (I always check Real Self) and other sites for feedback. I highly recommend him. His staff was also terrific.
I had a serious fall down a flight of steps and did extensive damage to both eyelids. Dr. Losquadro not only was kind, patient and caring, he managed to make my surgery a pleasant experience. My follow up with Dr. Losquadro was extensive and thorough. I strongly recommend Dr. Losquadro.
My experience with Dr. Losquadro was wonderful. At first, I was very nervous about the procedure and especially who would be doing it. However, Dr. Losquadro not only answered a ton of my questions, but he was candid and very nice as well. During my visits when he had to examine my nose he was gentle and never made me feel uncomfortable. He listened to what I wanted and gave his expert opinion as well. Dr. Losquadro told me not to worry and that the procedure wasn't all that bad, in fact, it was much easier than I imagined. He told me exactly what I needed to do, which wasn't much, and even explained to me why he doesn't use packing in the nose post-surgery. This was a concern for me because I had friends who had rhinoplasty and had the packaging all week, and their noses looked great. But, to no surprise, Dr. Losquadro was right. The packing was not needed, and in fact, would have made me more uncomfortable. WHAT IT WAS LIKE: That week after I had my procedure I thought it would be the hardest week that year, but honestly, it was not. The pain medication took away all feeling, so I had zero pain. I only needed the pain meds for three days, maybe even two. Each day I only took half an Oxy, not even a full. Dr. Losquadro was right again when he said the bleeding would only last the first few days, not even, and for the majority of the week, I only had the cast on my nose. No packing, no underneath brace with cotton balls, and no pain. So, I slept with my head propped up and I slept better than I thought I would, which I think is because there was no packing. I didn't eat much just because eating is a bit more difficult since you can't really inhale through your nose at first, but I had lots of ice cream and smoothies. I watched Bridgerton, spoke to family and friends who visited me, baked, read, and overall, it was a great week. Towards the last two or three days of the week, my grandmother took me for walks around the block, which was great. I took a bath and left my hair in french braids all week, and I used dry shampoo. But, to be completely honest, I was relaxed, pain-free, and had the hope of my new nose, and I rocked the cast! Post-surgery, I even started working out again 1 week after my surgery. Many people have this idea, including me at first, that nose jobs are scary, dangerous, and painful. Not only was the surgery not painful, but sometimes in life, you have to weigh the risks versus the reward. Are the risks going to be worth the reward? Dr. Losquadro follows all the safety protocols and works with wonderful people, and knows exactly what he is doing. My only regret is not getting one sooner because of my fear. I wished I hadn’t listened to the stereotypes and gone to Dr. Losquadro at first. But then again, maybe it was just Dr. Losquadro who made the entire process exciting, fairly simple, and pain-free. And, I do not have a high pain tolerance. In fact, I had a much worse time getting my wisdom teeth out. My nose still has a few months to heal, in fact, I was told it can take up to a year to fully see results, but almost 5 months post-surgery, I not only love my nose but so does everyone else. In fact, so many people told me that I look different, but they just couldn’t pinpoint why, and when I told them I had a nose job they said, “Oh wow. It looks so natural. I didn’t even realize, but now that you said something I can see the difference. You look great.” Every new person I meet has no idea because my nose looks so natural. Dr. Lasquadro made my nose fit my face while helping me shape it the way I wanted. If you are reading this, let me be the one to convince you to go to Dr. Losquadro because you won’t regret it. I had many apprehensions at first about the surgery, but now I am grateful for the new life he has given me.
I’m 63 and I wanted a nose job for almost 50 years. I had the worst deviated septum, my nose looked different at every angle and honestly I couldn’t breathe for 50 plus years and hated looking at my crooked nose every single day . My low self esteem about my nose was a real thing. I waited so long because I was afraid of not looking like myself and that scared me. Last year I made the decision to finally bite the bullet and get it done once and for all. I will tell you all reading this that I DID MY HOMEWORK I had about 6 different consultations in NYC, Jersey , CT and Westchester. I paid up to 350-500 for a few of them . I was sent home with before and after photos that I analyzed and the only one that I truly loved was from Dr Losquadro. He listened to what my concerns were and his after photos were just what I was looking for. In fact my nose is better than the after photo. Dr Losquadro specializes in nose reconstruction and he understands fully what he needs to do. I was not nervous at all prior to my surgery and not nervous when he took the bandage off either. I can’t tell you how happy I am, how grateful I am for Dr. Losquadro for doing such a perfect job on my nose and for listening to all my concerns. I can tell you all that you can trust him to give you the nose of your dreams. He us a true miracle worker. He doesn’t have a huge social media presence only because he’s more concerned with his work and probably has little time. Just look at my nose before and after. It’s amazing, I still look like myself and I’m getting so many compliments from so many people. My husband is getting a little tired hearing about it!!! lol!!! I recommend you all start with Dr. Losquadro cause he is by far the best in my eyes. He has changed my life. There was a reason it took me 50 years. I was meant to wait until I found him. You’ll see.. He’s amazingMy after pictures are only 6-8 weeks after surgery. I'll add photos as my nose progresses.
A concavity, or saddling, of the middle third of the nose defines the so-called saddle nose deformity. The bridge can be restored to any height, and a hump can certainly be added. Cartilage grafting is the ideal method of restoring dorsal height. If the saddle is small, septal cartilage can be used if it is still available. For larger saddles, ear or rib cartilage is necessary. Either can be carved as is or diced and wrapped in fascia. I prefer rib cartilage because of its volume and strength and carving it to precisely fashion the new bridge.
Asian patients seeking rhinoplasty often desire a more narrow, refined, and projected tip. The tip may also be turned up or overrotated such that nostril show on the frontal view is excessive. Tip grafting can turn down or counterrotate the nose and reduce nostril visibility.
Rhinoplasty can be performed at any point during routine orthodontic treatment. Correction of severe over- or underbites, however, can change the appearance of the upper lip and lip-columella relationship. In these uncommon cases, it is best to wait until after orthodontic treatment with braces is complete.
A large volume of grafting material is often required in Asian rhinoplasty to raise the bridge and refine the tip. Enough septal cartilage is rarely available and rib grafting is often used. There is virtually no resorption of rib cartilage over time so it is essentially permanent.
The goal of most Asian rhinoplasties is to raise the bridge and narrow/refine the tip. This is an "augmentation" rhinoplasty where the nasal framework is left intact and built upon with synthetic implants or grafts. Although after removal it will take time for the stretched nasal skin to accommodate to the nasal skeleton, removal should eventually restore the nose back to its original pliability.
